1. Data we collect

When you submit our onboarding or contact form, we collect the personal data you choose to provide:

• Business name
• Contact name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Location (e.g. town or region)
• Type of business
• Your preferred contact method

We do not collect data through advertising networks, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on this site.

2. How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiry and provide information about Bookify;
• To set up and onboard your salon or barber business;
• To communicate with you about your account or request, using your preferred contact method.

3. Legal basis

We process the data above on the basis of your consent (given when you submit the form) and our pre-contractual and legitimate interests in responding to a genuine enquiry and onboarding a prospective customer.

4. Where your data goes

When you submit the form, your data is sent to our server and delivered by email (through our email/SMTP provider) to the Bookify operator at info@bookify.mt so we can respond. In the course of delivery, the following may process your data as processors on our behalf:

• Our email delivery (SMTP) provider, to transmit the message;
• Our hosting provider, to run the website.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.

5. Retention

We keep form submissions only for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and pursue onboarding, and thereafter only as needed for legitimate business records, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data. Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS, and user-supplied content is HTML-escaped before being included in notification emails. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, however.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Have inaccurate data corrected;
• Request erasure (“the right to be forgotten”);
• Restrict or object to our processing;
• Data portability; and
• Withdraw your consent at any time.
