Why it was built

I’m Chris Azzopardi, and Bookify Malta started with watching great salons lose bookings to missed calls, no-shows and endless WhatsApp ping-pong. The booking tools out there were built for big chains in other countries, not for a barber in Valletta or a nail tech in Victoria, Gozo.

Product history

The idea first took shape in 2024, and it grew into Bookify Malta the way it should be: here in Malta, for Maltese businesses. Clients request, you approve. SMS reminders cut no-shows by up to 90%. Rescheduling takes two taps, not two phone calls. And we never take a commission from your bookings.

How we work

When you join, we come to you. The founder personally visits every salon we onboard, sets up services and staff with you, and makes sure your first booking comes through smoothly. No ticket queues, no call centres. Just a founder who shows up.
